Our hochschule was founded in April 1987 and performs 34 years of uninterrupted activity this year.
It was the first private hochschule online of Switzerland, is legally recognized, gives university securities in accordance with the Federal Constitution and the Law on the Education of the Canton of Zug.
It is authorized to the university school name and registered in the canton of the Zug.
UNITESLA legally operates as a private university by virtue of the art. 20 and 27 of the Swiss federal constitution and art. 74 cpv.1 of the education law of the canton of Zug, offering courses that lead to the achievement of Academic Seconds of Bachelor Degree (three-year degrees), Master Degree (Specialist Degrees), Executive Master and Master of Advanced Studies, as well as doctorates of Research – PHD corresponding to levels 6, 7 and 8 of the European EQF system European Qualification Framework (Parliament and European Council recommendation of 23 April 2008).
The name of the “Private University School” is fried in compliance with the art.76 of the Federal Law on the promotion and coordination of the Swiss university sector (LPSU) of 1 January 2015.
It is recognized, in general terms, from the Swiss national legal system as a private university of the university system, as established by the judgments of the Cantonal Court of Appeal Ranked # 11.2006.118 of 9 May 2008, of the Federal Court No. 5A_376 / 2008 of 20 January 2009 and the Federal Administrative Court n. B 5924/2012Del 13 August 2013.
It is managed by the company “I.S.S.E.A SA Private University Remote School” registered in the Canton Commercial Register of Zug.

The “distance learning” teaching method or online universities
Today distance education has developed in all advanced countries in the basic, professional, continuous and university training. While traditional teaching and based on direct contact between teacher / tutor and student, distance teaching presupposes physical distance between the two figures and use of communication systems in which the computer plays an essential role, through technologies Available as the exchange of e-mails, and the forum.
