The Degree Course in Economics offers training that meets the needs of different types of businesses. The skills acquired by graduates during their studies can in fact be flexibly adapted to a plurality of requests from the world of work. The degree program offers students the opportunity to acquire diversified skills both in the organizational-managerial and administrative-financial and credit fields.
The student, taking into account his own interests and attitudes, will be able to deepen the area concerning the main company functions, with particular attention to accounting, planning and control, organizational, legal and tax aspects, with specific reference to the world of small and medium-sized enterprises, or it may make specific choices regarding corporate finance, the structure and functioning of financial markets and the credit system. Professional activities range from administrative and / or financial functions to those of organization, production and marketing.
The degree course in Economics aims to provide a solid preparation in economic and business disciplines (declined both for functional areas and for classes of companies in various sectors), as well as to acquire an adequate mastery of mathematical-statistical tools and principles and institutions of the legal system. In particular, the training course aims to develop the basic skills for the analysis of business phenomena in complex economic and social contexts.
Graduates will develop adequate skills in the economic, managerial, financial and legal disciplines, developing appropriate methods of analysis and critical interpretation of corporate structures and dynamics.
The degree course includes training courses to address specific aspects of corporate management, management and administration, of particular types of companies and financial intermediation, also in the context of sustainability issues and principles. In line with the educational objectives, the degree course is therefore divided into didactic / training courses to enhance the scientific-cultural attitudes and preferences of each student.

The duration of the course varies from a minimum of 12 months to a maximum of 36 months and depends on the evaluation of the curriculum vitae of each student and the educational credits held, evaluated according to a system equivalent to the European ECTS system. The professional experiences already possessed at the management level are helpful for a shortening of the course.
To access the Degree Course, it is necessary to have a secondary school diploma or other qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable. The recognition of the suitability of qualifications obtained abroad for the sole purpose of admission to study courses is decided by the University, in compliance with the international agreements in force. The methods for verifying the knowledge required for access will be defined in the Didactic Regulations of the course of study which will also identify any additional educational requirements in the event that the verification is not positive.
